The short version
InCaseVault has no accounts and no servers. Your family binder — records, document photos, contacts and profile details — is stored only on your device. We cannot see it, sell it, or lose it, because it never reaches us.
Data stored on your device
- Binder records you enter (accounts, insurance, documents, bills, people, instructions).
- Photos of documents you capture or import, kept in the app's private storage.
- Optional profile (names, phone, paper-copy location, attorney) used solely to pre-fill the Emergency Sheet and PDF exports.
- App settings (theme, app lock, reminders, access-plan checklist).
This data leaves your device only when you export it: as a printed/shared Emergency Sheet, a full PDF, a CSV, or a backup archive shared through the iOS share sheet to destinations you choose.
Purchases
In-app purchases are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to validate purchase receipts; it receives an anonymous app identifier and purchase status — never your binder or personal details.
What we do NOT do
- No user accounts, no passwords, no email collection.
- No analytics SDKs, no advertising identifiers, no tracking.
- No cloud copies of your binder.
Face ID
If you enable the app lock, authentication is performed entirely by iOS. InCaseVault only receives a yes/no result and never touches biometric data.
Your control
Deleting the app deletes all data stored in it. Exports and printed sheets remain wherever you put them and are yours to keep or destroy.
