Estimates · for solo pros
Look pro. Win the job.
Signed before you leave.
A clean, itemized PDF beats a number scribbled on a business card. JobQuote turns room measurements into a priced, professional estimate in minutes — and gets the client's signature while you're still standing in the room.
Why this matters
Clients hire the contractor
whose quote looks like they've done this before.
Two bids land: one is a text message with a round number, the other an itemized PDF with rooms, quantities, rates and a license number in the header. Same price — different confidence. And the best moment to get a yes is on the spot, not “I'll email it next week.”
Measure once, quote in minutes
Enter a room's length, width and height — wall, ceiling, floor and trim quantities are computed with standard openings. Tap a number into any line.
Five units cover every trade
Area, linear, count, hours, flat. Painting, flooring, tile, handyman, mobile mechanic, detailing — trade presets give you the typical lines; your rates fill themselves.
Your price book builds itself
Every rate you enter is remembered. The second estimate takes two minutes — tap the lines, quantities from rooms, done.
Signed on the spot
Hand over your phone: the client signs with a finger, and the signature, name and date go into the PDF. “Let me think about it” becomes a yes while you're still in the room.
A PDF that wins jobs
Itemized by room, subtotal, tax, total, your license number in the header, valid-for-30-days line. Precision reads as professionalism — and professionalism wins bids.
No subscription, ever
Estimate apps charge $139+/year and lock your history behind the paywall when you stop paying. JobQuote is $29.99 once; your quotes live on your phone.
Local-first
Your rates and clients are your business. Literally.
No accounts, no cloud, no analytics — your pricing, clients and quote history stay on your phone. Export the PDF or a backup file whenever you choose; nothing else ever leaves the device.

FAQ
Questions
Which trades does it work for?
Any trade that prices by area, length, count, hours or flat fees: painting, flooring and tile, handyman work, mobile mechanics, detailing, cleaning, landscaping. Presets for painting, flooring and auto are built in; the custom preset fits everything else.
Is the finger signature legally binding?
An estimate is not a contract, and the PDF says so. The signature documents that the client approved this scope at this price on this date — which is what ends most 'we never agreed to that' conversations. For large jobs, use a proper contract on top.
Does it do invoices?
No — on purpose. JobQuote ends at the signed estimate; attach the PDF to whatever invoicing flow you already use. One tool, one job, done well.
Metric or imperial?
Both. It defaults to sq ft and feet (US), with a metric switch in Settings for m² and meters.
Is it really a one-time purchase?
Yes. $29.99 once — less than one month of a typical contractor-app subscription — and it's yours forever. First three estimates are free to try.
